For a good supply from the storage to the process there is the use of discharge equipment. Frequently this equipment will be provided with discharge aids or the equipment is the discharge aid itself. The discharge equipment or discharge aids prevent situations like for example rat holing and bridging. Much of the applied discharge aids assume simple basic principles, it demands however the necessary knowledge on how to apply them in a correct manner.
