As an account manager, you are the essential link in building and maintaining relationships with our customers, both existing and new. You are commercial, enterprising and independent. Moreover, you are enthusiastic, have thorough professional knowledge and are interested in the broadest sense of the word. A real salesperson, but also a relationship manager.

What will you be doing?
You are the essential link in building and maintaining relationships with our customers. In addition to managing existing customers, you will also be responsible for identifying and reaching out to potential new customers. For example, you make use of your own network and closely follow up on leads and prospects.
You’re on the road a lot, so your days are never the same. One moment you’re inspecting an existing installation and advising the customer on innovative replacement of outdated equipment or a smart extension to the existing set-up. The next moment you’re standing on a completely new plant under construction. When you are back in the office, you map out the wishes of the customer and provide them with a competitive quote.
Did you score an order? Great, congratulations! During the project, the project manager in question can count on your support and input to bring the project to a successful conclusion.
Your customers are mainly located in the Netherlands but our customers elsewhere in Europe can also count on you.
What do we expect from you?
You are at least HBO-level educated, supplemented with several years of relevant work experience. In addition, you have built up strong commercial skills and have good product knowledge. You understand the customer’s needs and objectives and are able to provide technical advice, solve problems and come up with tailor-made solutions that meet the specific needs of customers.
You are a salesman at heart, but at the same time you are also a relationship manager. You are commercial, enterprising, flexible, creative, communicative, accurate and above all customer-friendly. As an account manager, you will work both independently and in a team. A good knowledge of the Dutch, English and German language is important. Skills with Microsoft Office are a requirement, knowledge and experience with AutoCad and/or Inventor is a big plus.
